Whats a good way to meet new friends?

I dont have any friends. Will you be my friend?
- I did a friend Edit, Any one who doesnt have goals and strive to do better got deleted. I hung out with a bunch of fat lazy drunks. Now I hang out with Weights or this forum.

I'm in the same boat but for different reasons. I have moved into a different county in Ireland because of the new job I got. I know no one bar the people I live with. But from going to the gym there I am getting to know a few people but I would like to meet up with a few people. Must get the lads down for a weekend out and see what we can find. Plus point the women are hot up there.

i meet ppl at the gym or out and about...meet some cool guys at a dance club downtown..basically cus we have the same taste in music. i like going out by myself and seeing where the night takes me. I hate going out with chicks cus then i have to watch them if they get to fd up or dudes grabbing them.

I am pretty picky when it comes to friends. I have gone out alone a lot, and never have to worry about company. I always find someone to talk to, or hang with. When it comes to friends though, I have never met a freind that I kept at a bar. It is always through work or introduction, or something besides going out for beers.

I am truly blessed with several very close friends around the country which is really cool.

Honestly, i hang with my training partners, and the guys who i train.

Try making friends at the gym. Maybe get into some BJJ in your area. Just get into something where you all have simular interests, and are in the same age group.

Get a bike or a pair of jetskis. Noone can resist a saturday ride out to the sandbar wit a few chicks in tow. I said a PAIR. I wouldnt be caught dead wit a dude behind me on a bike tho. At least with 2 skis you can invite up to 3 people.

Dude I have more fun going out with myself than with my 'friends' I am with this guy and most ppl I am close with are either, married, have kids, married with kids, live in gf who has there dick in a vice grip, moved away.. Not to mention, there is NEVER any drama. If your out with 3 guys, + yourself someones always getting in trouble, doing dumb shit, getting to drunk blah blah blah, you know what I'm talking about. It also helps if you just don't seem into her, and tell her straight up your here alone because your friends are older. If shes not 19 she will get it and prob chill with you.

I made friends with a few bar tenders a while ago, and roll up to the popular places, alone and get hugged/kissed by all of them as soon as I walk in. The other people see this and are like wtf! If I see someone waiting in line for a drink, and he/she looks like they work out, I'll call the bar tender over and get them a drink fast. I've taken home more women, alone than with a group of guys, or even girl wings.

I'm not tall(manlet actually), I'm over weight, but you can tell I work out. I really don't like to drink much so I order mostly water like one other guy said. Trick is to get a lemon so ppl don't question it. I'd like to join some teams here in town but I don't want to play outside in FL in the 100degree summers.
