yeah monday is chest day internationally LOL.
also friday or saturday afternoon chest and arm pump up day before going out.
funny shit you see at gym.

This is the problem. When I first started in the gym I would have payed to have you big guys give me advice. I did the equivelent of hitting my self in the head with a hammer for the first year. Had I been able to/ or known where to get good advice back then I would have gone so much further/ faster. I the @sshole know-it-alls in the gym ruin it for guys like me. I don't have an ego when I walk in. I just want to do things right, and get strong.
BTW Matt. I read your squat post and now have started doing them on a very constitant basis. I am getting stronger, and bigger! Great Read!

i never see anyone in my gym work back... let alone legs!!
so one day i was doin deads (only person ive seen do deads in my gym)
and a high school kid came up and started sayin how im the only one hes seen do deads

I hate dead lifts but you gotta do them. Deadlifts and squats. I hate them both

Lol, i did this at my college when i worked out there in front of some of the powerlifting kids, they all smirked when i was warming up with 135 and 225 and asked when i would be done so they could workout
i said they would work in with me if they liked and they said it's okay, they didn't want to have to keep loading and unloading weight
i said just do your sets and i'll keep up, at which point one of them starting chuckling
the stronger of the 2 maxed out at 405 and i went on to put up 495 for 2 singles
both these guys were seniors and had about 50-60lbs on me at least(fatty wannabee powerlifters)
that was probably one of my best ever back workouts

I see. Damn, I used to squat alot when I played ball. Tendinitis in my knees is a byotch. So now i go no higher than 300 on squats. If I feel good I may squeeze 350. But you see my big ass under 185 wondering wtf?? Thats me!!
I have yet to go over 320 on dead lifts. Soon tho T. Im on my way.

Fk i hate squats,, have takin about 4wks off doing them because back been jacked up and ive been half lazy. Did them yesterday with alot of lunges,, man people at wrk are lookin at me like i shit a pine tree. Fk me.

Oh how I live deads and squats. Once a month I have a "leg and lower back" day, which is just a pyramid of 8 sets of squats and 6 sets of stiff legged deads. I often feel like puking and getting up the stairs after the workout is rather challenging. My legs are effing huge tho (although not over 30' like tmos, that is just ridiculous).
