See a Doc and don't lie about everything you're taking when he/she asks.

I get them everyday too, mostly after I eat.
One doc said I had an overactive digestive system but I know its just minor heart damage from too many runs with speed when I was younger.
For some reason now if eat a decent sized meal within 10 mins my heart starts fluttering and beating off tempo, plus it beats harder and will vibrate my chest.
I also have chronic high blood pressure which I relate not to genes or diet but past usage as well.
Only think that takes care of it is beta blockers BUT I rarely take them anymore. Doctor told me I'm increasing the risk of stroke or heart attack my not taking them, but they make it too hard for me to stay lean and keep my bf% down.
I figure when its my time its my time and a pill isn't gonna stop that.
One thing I can say I notice makes a huge difference is if Im even a tad dehydrated the palpitations are so much worse.
Water naturally thins your blood so its your friend.
And you may wanna get an EKG & start monitoring your own blood pressure in a daily log. Just to establish patterns of reasons you may not realize that are making it happen.

I have normal blood pressue. they where caused from a onset of severe anxiety i devoloped after a severe car accident when i was a young teen. i am 21 now.. and have adressed the issue to the doctor and said my bp is fine.. i have a normal heart beat.. and that palpitations in my case can occur for many reasons but they say its not a heart defect.. they did however say i could do further testing but they did not feel it was needed... I usually only get one a day... sometimes i can go 2 weeks without any.. just wondering if anyone else expereiences these
