I have two....

My wife's family has some land and an old farm house about 4 hours from our place. Hop on the bike and ride down. Hike back to the quarry. Bluff at the far end is about 50ft up from the water. I can sit on that bluff and watch the turtles, fish and other animals for hours. Sometimes I bring a fishing pole, but mostly I just sit there. Alone, and quiet.

Every other year I make the pilgrimage so Sturgis, SD. The atmosphere there is sick. But my favorite part is riding to Deadwood and hiking up Mt. Mariah. (where Wild Bill and Calamity Jane are buried) There is just enough room to sit at the top. Sitting there listening to birds and bikes in the background. There's nothing better on this earth. Nothing
