Relax and Unwind

When I unwind on those rare occassions I enjoy a scotch and cigar. Sometimes just a scotch, no cigar, but never a cigar no scotch. I prefer the pair. I love the strong aroma of the Glenlivet XXV and a smooth vintage macanudo.

I like to this ritual either alone or with one close friend in a public setting. Like the balcony at the Driskel in Austin.

I also like the private cigar clubs, the ambiance, and the aroma they weep inside. What an endulgence in intimacy with myself. No business, no family, no responsabilities, or obligations, for the moment it is just about my wishes.

What do you do to escape and what do you get out of it?

To change it up sometimes i will give myself the "the stranger."

The Stranger:

anyway, I enjoy going for a horseback ride by myself on a trail Ive never taken before On a quite morning , Like 5:00am, A good cup of coffee in a travel mug. Sooo peacefull.
I have never had good scotch.

Should I send you a bottle? I love to ride and they have a really nice place here to ride I think I may do that next weekend. That is why I started this thread. Get other peoples ideas. I can take a ride alone in some really beautiful hiils by the Colorado River 10 miles form my house!@ I never even thought about a morning ride until now. I am on it.

I have put more miles on horseback than on my own feet, I grew up as a wrangler/guide and stayed at it for 10 years. Retired from it now so its enjoyable. Also out in the middle of a calm lake late in the evening in a canoe with a fly rod and a case of my favorite beer=goodtimes!

you make me sick. can I ride with this summer? I may make it earlier. I am abou tto wrap up a 70k month so I might treat myself to some me time. I don;t ususally take any time if I am on fire like this so it will ba after it slows a bit. Maybe a weekend trip?

I had to drive to the mountains and it was so friggin awesome. It was like I drove into a dream winter wonderland within 90 minutes. Colorado rocks. i am thinking of buying a place up there to vacation in, in a couple of years.

to wind down i normally go to the gym, beat the fvck out of the weights, then go home, call some chick, and pound her ass for a while, then go out to a party and chill with some friends, then find another chick for that night and the next morning, great way to spend a night IMO
