    Are "ideal" abs simply genetic?

I work my ass off to get to where I am, and I'm pretty proud of where I've been, and what I am now.

Not just my body, but mind and career also.

I'm maintaining between 205 and 210lbs, at 6' and I've got no fat on my body but a small pouch in my central ab area.

Shoulders are vascular, even lower abs have veins, but my abs are not real defined. I obviously carry my fat there.

Diets in check, high protein, only complex carbs, lower, as low as fat as possible, but I get my omeagas. I probably cardio too much, I'm running every day, some times twice a day, but I'm holding my size just fine doing it. Weight training 5-6 days a week using HIT training.

My abs just are not real defined, I'm not neglecting them.

Seems some guys are just blessed with that nice squared off chest, and a defined core. I know, 2 of you are reading this right now, and I just want you to know, I hate you!!

How are we ever going to get any guys with out a 6pack bro?

But, exactly, lets just keep hatin on these genetically gifted bros.

    My next plan is:
    600mgs test prop
    400mgs mast prop
    80mgs tbol

Going to do a lot of ab work, keep the cardio up, and if that don't work, I give up and opting for lipo

Honestly i gave up on them already. I had them once but i was at 155 and i felt like $hit. Will never do that again. So the 6'er i have given up on, now i just try to work on other areas while keeping the fact on my stomach to a min.

genetics makes things easier for some.

my shoulders and traps dominate a lot of people who have been training 3x longer than i have at my gym.....

but there are people who have THE stomach, but my back and shoulders are far better.

genetics determines a LOT of things.....

treat em just like any other muscle. They are overrated though...I've found that my "abs" look better the more core exercises I do, and the less ab exercises I do. They get worked once a week just like any other muscle, and then I do a lot of exersizes to work my entire core.

Id have to agree with this, My abs were shredded at 190lbs. I did abs 5 times a week. Now Im 230 and I have a pouch. I started doing 5 times a week again and am already noticing a signifigant change. Hard work, thats it.

I would look into the paleo diet and change your cardio to intense interval training. The paleolithic diet has a lot to do with food quality. Maybe your already doing this and then in that case I don't know?

Apart from genetics, there's always room for improvement in any individual. Just because you don't genetically have super abs, doesn't mean you can't adjust your diet and training to get where you want to be.

Try carb cycling for cutting, and HIIT like mentioned above - also I wouldn't drop your fats below 20-30% of your total kcal. Remember we need healthy o m e g a s - 6,3 for balanced cholesterol, balanced nutrient absorption and distribution, and balanced hormone levels (testosterone ).

I'd recommend you hit the diet section and post your macros for a cutting diet, if you're that'd concerned about a 6-pack!

I am really hoping to get my seix pack going. I can start to see them now but still have some work to do. It's a marathon and not a race.

I have been focusing on the abs hitting them every other day. Cleaned up the diet, and got the 4 pack also. The love handles are gone but the hardest part seems to be the last row of abs.
