    Talking Cancun Weekend......Suggestions

    OK, so I have never been to Cancun, and my GF has a birthday at the end of this month and I thought what the hell. and all inclusive weekend in Cancun.

    The property is THE RIU CARIBE, a 5 apple all inclusive resort.

    any LEGIT suggestions on what to do while there or anything I should look for or stay away from???

    all inclusive....do they have any Idea how much I can eat???....LOLOL

    Make sure if your going to eat outside of your resort you ask them the best places!!!!

    My wife and I stopped in a little place (nice) white table clothes. The whole shabang.

    Food was not eddible and the drinks they gave us were so wattered down we had them pour more liquor in infront of us ... Still nothing.

    Take your own bottled water or buy at the resort. There tap is nothiing like our purification system.


    There are some places to eat there that have 5 star chefs and good prices you just have to know where your going.

    For some good fun have a few Coronas and take a taxi. They dont stop at stop signs.


    Oh one more thing. Send me some thing back .

    damn, i haven't had a real vacation in almost two years now....... I can't wait

    So, the all inclusive resort has all alcohol included, should I be worried about them using tap water in those drinks??

    It's just a long weekend, but damn its gonna be nice to just get away for a few days

    will my Iphone still work there? can't be away from the board for too long, I will go into withdrawl.....lol

    Well I don't know if they have metals or contaminants of that kind but if you order spirits the alchol content should kill the VAST majority if not all bacteria that might be in the water,plus if it is an expensive place frequented by Americans the water quality will probably be better than average.They wouldn't want all the tourists dropping dead.

    Be careful with the water out there, I got sick from the ice cubes at the resort. I figured it would be ok, had a stomach flu for 3 days as soon as I got back home.

    its actually a great deal so far Kat, its a 5 apple resort ( guess thats like a 5 star) and with my airfare from Pittsburgh, all transfers, and tax, hotel all inclusive FOOD, and ALCOHOL included, for 3 nights for two people $1200.00

    and they have like 3 resorts there that you can hop from one to the other

    I am sure it has to be even cheaper from Florida

    They don't really have much there since it's a tourist area.

    You did get a great deal, I've always wanted to go to one of the Sandals all inclusive resorts but they are pretty expensive, you will have to let us know how it goes for sure!
