I say get it, flip it and move it up some. If you move it up, it will be easier to cover up if need be. Professional you....

I say do whatever YOU want. I have several tats, some of which others think are stupid, but they mean something to me and that's all that matters. That said, if you can live with the forearm tat, go for it. I would never get one unless I was a professional (athlete, musician, ect) or won the lottery where money wouldn't ever be a concern to me. That said, you do own your own business. If it's doing well then I say go for it. Like others have said, you only live once!

I think I may just put it down my left ribcage and make it bigger
I have the bushido down my right ribcage, so this could balance me out a little

hey man, im a tattoo artist, and have this conversation with people alot.
people have judged you for a shirt youve worn, or the way you cut your ****in hair. narrow minded people are gonna find any criteria they want to look down on you, and anyone worth thier breath isint gonna give a **** that you have tattoos. and your tattoo is for you only. its got nothing to do with anyone else. but if you think its gonna make you self-concious about the way people percieve you, maybe you arent ready for that kind of commitement either. im not covered in tattoos, i have about 20 hours of work put into me so far but im doign it slow and gradual at a pace im comfortable with.
do i think you should care about what other people think of your tattoos? hells no
but at the same time i think you need to be completely comfortable and confident in your decision when considering your next piece.
did you plan on doing the cross in stone? choosing the right artist is huge too man. just because a guy did some nice tribal, or script on you, does not mean he can do a good job on this. look for similar shit in a portfolio pay attention to linework and see if hteres any healed tattoos in there, thats important. fresh tattoos show what the artist is capable of but dont show how heavy his hand is and how well his stuff heals. anyway best of luck man post some pics when youve got it done.
peace

i would say get it before vacation so you have time to gt used to it before going back to work.. also a tatoo is no big deal these days....look at all the facial piercings out there ya know... if you have to go to court or some function, wear long sleeve shirt, and most likely if its an occasion like that, others will be wearing the same.
tatoos do not scare kids... they usuall dont notice or they thing their interesting. i have a tatoo on my face on my right temple of a star with a little flair to it... when i first got it i covered it up for work, business attire... then one day i just said F*** it an didnt cover it up and nobody says a word about it... months later they ask it has any meaning, but thats all... and i do wear my hair back when i do work and everyone sees it.. even outside clients...
times have changed.

usually crappy people work at donation banks and they are just learning to draw blood, but it looks like you have what we call barrel veins and it should have been like putting a needle through a donut hole, but apparently she is just going to suck at life.
I'm glad you got it bigger, I think it looks better that way....
I couldn't stop laughing about the starship enterprise comment
