Have you picked out an urn? Man there are some kool ones (and expensive ones) out there.
Funny story... My first bird dog I owned as an adult (and the namesake for my screen name) died suddenly one winter night.
I always said I wanted to creamate him and I was going to load his ashes in with some 4 shot pheasent loads and let him get the first rooster of the year. Never did but it would have been a fitting tribute to a great hunter and companion.
Damn I need to take my AI today!

I don't have the energy to argue after the last cpl days but I have to say I am not a fan of the breed as a whole. Thats not to say there are not good ones but I really have grown to not care for protection class dogs at all. You can not breed the instinct out of them.

Honestly after everything we went through it was kind of par for the course. Although we have one of the most compassionate vets I could ever hope for. We had to put her to sllep as an emergency call shrtly after midnight at another clinic. Our vet picked her up drove her anhour to get creamated then brought her back for us.
She was a saint through our treatments...felt bad though because her families lab got the same cance part way through our treatment. Our dog remained healthy for 8 months on chemo. Hers did not responde so well and only made it about a month.
God Damn dogs anyhow!!!

He doesnt have an ounce of protectiveness in him.
If anyone came to rob us or do us harm... he'd lick them an welcome them with open paws.
I had a chow chow... now that bitch was protective.
She could be vicious as hell.
We tried to buy a home once and was denied home owners insurance cuz we said we had a chow chow.

"Ah they dont hurt people, they are so sweet" (Im talking about pits)
Sable my female could give a shit less if you even talk, look, or pet her
When the front door opens she just looks up like "Dammit you woke me up"
she doesnt even get off the couch
She is pretty much worthless, but she's my buddy

No I understand man...it is a ton to do with how they are raised...Iv'e seen alot of mean labs
I just know that dogs all dogs have certain instincts bread into them based on their specific breed.
Instinct is what it is...you can't breed it out. Just makes me less trustworthy of the breed as a whole...not the individual dog per say

rots, dobermans, shepards - they can all be trained for this, pits shouldnt be
