Engines keep getting bigger and bigger. My bikes have 103ci which is about 1690cc

Waiting on the new cam chain tensioner to show up. Not riding her again till I replace that.

And its going up to 90 in the next few days. Way too early in the summer for that shit.

When I was out riding with the 4 other guys on Mon, all theirs were louder than mine. I couldnt hear my beautiful bike.

fukker started rattling a couple days back

looking to either cut it out and replace it with a straight pipe or a resonator/test pipe

not looking to make my exhaust louder or sound fast & furious

what you guys think? ever done this?

The cat doesnt have a huge effect on muffling, if you have a decent set of mufflers at the end anyways.

Debating on ordering this one (its a direct replacement):

or just welding in a normal piece of exhaust pipe

Think it'll make a difference sound-wise? I'm hoping the larger diameter chamber won't give it that beehive sound
