Its all good I'm counting down 46 short days to retire at 52. Pretty happy. Plan to get serious again with training to fill my days. I've been slacking just doing the minimum to maintain 4 day split and 2-3 mornings of cardio. Almost Kel levels.
Ready to kick it up a notch.

Theres a guy living below a tavern in the east of London that eats shit for every meal. He sometimes prepares it in an oven and eats it like chocolate cake.

Thank you brother!
I work too hard at my job now and never get any recognition or praise. not that i am asking for one all the time, but i work circles and do more than anyone in the office. when and if i leave, they will see all the little things that get done that no one knows about. i was out of the office for 2 days and my phone rang needing to know how to do stuff in the office. geez! if i happen to get an offer competitive to what i have now, i am gone.
only thing i will miss will be smoothie, don't think she will go for the long distance relationship, even though it seems like it now

bahaha
Just rode NYC-Sturgis-Daytona nice little ride. And yes all that time on the road does make one quite parched.

About an hour after I wrote above post I was in deep sleep. I was completely wiped because I ramped up my training.
I woke up to people screaming and banging. I was so disoriented that I could not figure out what the hell was going on. Finally I got out of bed and opened the bedroom door. To my shocking surprise the hallway was filled with smoke. I closed the door quick, threw on a pair of shorts and grabbed wallet and cell phone. Then I realized there was a fire escape outside my bedroom window so I yanked the A/C out of the window and jumped out to the fire escape. As soon as I jumped out people below started screaming to me not to go down that way. I looked down and fire was coming out of the window in the apartment below. They screamed go out the front but I'm thinking the front is filled with smoke as soon as I open the front door there will probably be fire out there. I really thought this was it for a second. I took a deep breath and ran out, down one flight of stairs and out the front door to the building. There were already 6-8 fire trucks outside. It was complete kaos. That was one of the scariest experiences I've ever had. I'm glad to report everyone got out without injury (just mild smoke inhalation) and the fire was quickly put out.

Thanks, I was really lucky. The only damage was a burnt AC in living room and a window busted from the heat. Also the fire department made some be holes in the walls in the kitchen and busted the door to the apartment. I'm already back in. Just smells of smoke. And they turned off the gas.

All good here gentlemen! Thanks for checking!
I'm waiting it out in Louisiana. It's terrible in Houston. I've been getting pics of my old apartment building, whole 1st floor is under water. So far, everyone I know is a okay. Smoothie has a little water damage but nothing major so far. A coworker has a foot and a half of water in his house. Not sure if I will be able to make it back this week.
On another note, job interview seemed to go well. They were talking about proposing an offer so things could get crazy just like that storm sooner than later. Gig seems to be right up my alley, fits me well, and the money looks to be close to what I was looking for. We shall see
Thanks again for everyone's concerns, I truly appreciate it!
