Still happy with job. Been working lots of overtime. No gym at all. Literally two hours a day that I am home awake and not at work, with one full day off. I have a hard enough time fitting in a few meals and some time to shit. Losing weight for sure but the work is physical so conditioning is good. I'll weigh in at the end of the season when the work dies out and set a new goal.

I’m ready, went shoot some yesterday. Still need some practice but I think I can stab one if it comes within 30 yards. Jealous of the 5 min notice!

Sounds like you have full plate, good job man. Looks to me like you have it figured out. Goals and a heaping helping of workload, that's way to get things done. Work like a possessed mad man, it pays off in more ways than one.

That pic is from a Cab Franc block at Stagecoach Vineyard. As a harvest intern I am learning the production side and a part of that is pulling grape samples at the vineyards/blocks that we source from. It's both awesome and tiring to spend hours climbing those vineyard slopes. I arrive at dawn to try to avoid the heat of the day.

Just got the first red grapes in today. Another 11-hour day in the books. My career as always been on the restaurant side, so this is a very big departure from that but I'm learning a lot and I believe it will improve my standing as a Sommelier. Very happy to be working with an amazing team, with an A+ winemaker and owner-- most people would kill to work with these guys!

And yes, I know Trinchero.
