It seams that Law enforcement is America´s new Mafia anymore. Way to many bad apples and way to many protecting the blue line.

in orange county were i am from, the county jail is worse then almost every prison here. The federal government is actually coming in to run the jail becuase the guards beat the **** out of so many people. They will not let the county of Orange run the jail anymore. Not to mention the large amount of mexicans that want to be the next biggest and baddest ****en thing when they are in there for straight faggit shit like fucen unpaid parking tickets and shit like that. They go in to county and think that they are ****en tough because they take up half the jail.

I know you are young but it was just in the late 1990s that the prison population reached 1,000,000. Now I think its over 2million approaching 3.

They need to legalize all drugs in the United States. It will make no difference to the people that are going to use. They are going to use regardless. Then we can save like the billions of dollars they spend on "The war of drugs".

Plus California needs to legalize weed asap. We are like the 4th or 5th largest economy in the world and we are bankrupt. I read somewhere the taxation of mj would pull us out of bankruptcy relatively fast.

I think it averages about 30K a year per person.

I really don´t give that much of a **** if some kid has possession of H and wants to kill himself with it. In as bad of a debt the US is in people want to pay 30K a year to keep some kid in prison for personal possession of H or C (I know personal possession can carry even longer terms)

i know the figures thats for a cheap prison, or low security for max sec and lvl 3 its 65k. The ****ed up things a lot of these prisons are privately owned and leased to the government. The company that has them has ****en stocks ha.
