    So low intensity cardio is better than high intensity, or is the point of the low intensity relate to minimize muscle loss? I'm curious becuase I do high intensity and thinking perhaps I should switch to low intensity, longer cardio sessions.

    Low intensity is better on fat burning... keep your heart rate lower. Nothing really to do with how long you can go

    didn't know that.. always thought that high intensity maximizes fat loss but if you exceed a certain heart rate, you start burning muscle as well. Hmmm..

    Healthy Heart Zone (Warm up) --- 50 - 60% of maximum heart rate: The easiest zone and probably the best zone for people just starting a fitness program. It can also be used as a warm up for more serious walkers. This zone has been shown to help decrease body fat, blood pressure and cholesterol.     So either the "healthy or fitness" zone is optimum for fat loss....

    So at 60-70% of the max heart rate, that's still working good for fat loss as opposed to anything more strenuous..

    I like priming with Keto before a cycle, but I wouldn't continue it on cycle, personally.
