Work with wild animals. I've done volunteer work in the past in that, mostly with native songbirds and small mammals, and will begin again soon-- this time with seals, sea lions, etc.

The difference is, I want to get paid for it. I need experience, recognition, and a degree!

That sounds amazing! I wish i could do that, but uni gets in the way of everything, time wise. I own many animals at home, from reptiles to hand tamed birds, fish, coral, marine fish, amphibians, and i breed and sell them all. I love animals so much. Not really dogs and cats though, haha.

No. More like zoo and/or rehab work. Obviously that involves some research, but not the same as observation in the wild. I have no real desire to sit in a stand in bum**** nowhere and count geese/bears/whatever, and I'm pretty fond of waking up at my house and taking a hot shower in the morning.

Crypto sounds awful. Has all the scientific credence and respect that goes with chasing bigfoot. Deep sea dives or deep rainforest exploration would be much more rewarding. New species everywhere!

I worked as a manager of a pet shop for 4 years, i know all about the cute and cuddly. Hey i fund my reptiles cute and cuddly, and most people run in fear of them.

As long as my girls are cute and cuddly, thats all that matters.

I was out hunting for lizards to feed to some foxes to teach them to hunt and kill prey and accidentally snatched up a rattlesnake in my bare hands once. I'm the only person I know who can say they have done something like that. The rattler was just as surprised and terrified as I was lol.
