is limewire is running on your computer it will slow it down alot whether u are dowloading any music or not. always make sure it is closed down completely. if its running in the lower right part of the screen then its bogging yoru computer.

well after my daughter went back to her moms i uninstalled everything i could find including limewire...maybe you never really get rid of stuff completely but i did find a few things that were downloading in progress one was acrobat reader and one utorrent so maybe u helped by having me look for the limewire...thanks
