I didn't do the usual tourist stuff I went off beaten track
Went and visited small villages in the hills most people wouldn't even know existed.

Yes I like the tourist stuff but the real heart of a country is its people

You find to many false people in the tourist traps
All yes men and just nod and smile

Seeing these all over again I want to go back.

Last for sure. Or the one with all the statues. Wish I had the funds to travel like this. Would be amazing to see ancient cities in other countries like this. I've yet to leave USA except for a couple cruises. :/

You need to see the Far East for sure
So much culture and a massive difference in the way people live their daily lives.

My fiancé is Filipino so I'm sure we will be joints there soon. Can't wait. Heard its dangerous for tourists though. Last time she went even though she looks the part she sounds like a westerner so they told her not to talk in some parts lol.

I'm sure everywhere has its dangerous parts but in general will be safe for you

these pics are from tuol sleng high school cambodia.
at the height of the Pol Pott regime this school was used as a torture prison
the gentleman im pictured with is the only living surivor from the prison.

The other pictures are of the mass graves and the bones excavated when digging up the mass graves

I took a whole bunch of snaps in Bali.

I'll hafta try and upload a video if I can, went swimming with Reef sharks (black and white tips) and captured a bit of footage underwater with my XPeria Z!
