If your speaking of new orleans yes it's back to normal. If your talking about the gulf coast of Mississippi, where the huuricane actually hit, it's nowhere near back to normal. All that hit new orleans was flood waters from a broken levee. I moved from the gulf coast just a few years before katrina and have been back quite a few times after katrina and there are thousands of people still in FEMA trailers.
Not trying to hijack the thread or take away from the tragedy in your country jbm

Yeah, glad your ok jbm.
Now was your house or car damaged in this?
Looks like a lot of people didnt get to higher ground... or isnt there any? I dont know the geographics over there.
