    hdtv question

hey im thinkin about buyin an hdtv. right now im stuck between going with either a samsung or sony. im looking at their lcd 32" or 40" 1080p tv's. not sure if i should go for the 120hz refresh rate. i wanted to see if u guys thought it was worth it. if i went with the 60hz version i'd save a couple hundred bucks.

Bottom line, once its out of the store you will not be able to tell the difference between the two. Both will have a great picture. Someone that works with or sales them all day might tell if they came over.

u can tell in the store when they show u what 60hz looks like next to 120hz. it's noticable. i've been waiting to buy an hdtv for a while now. the prices are alot better and the quality has improved a lot. now i think they're even making 240hz tvs. part of it seems like a marketing scam to jack the prices up. i guess we're always gonna want something bigger and better. im torn between the 60hz and 120hz. i could prolly wait anothey year and get the 120hz for the price of the 60hz. but then by then all the new tv's will be 240hz. idk. i do know i want a 1080p lcd with a high contrast ratio.
