    Computer Website Question

So I've got several programs running...

Email, Facebook, and Our wonderful Steroid site.....

    ...ok..and maybe youtube...

I have an open chat going on facebook and am typing a post here on this site and a new chat pops up on facebook....why would that create a pause in what I'm typing on this site and possible make me refresh the page to retype what i was typing ...

or...the music on youtube seems to get distorted by the chats on facebook...

anyone else experience this and/or anyone know if it can be fixed

Make sure your browsers are up to date. Facebook relies heavily on AJAX and it's a memory hog. If you're using firefox, it's even worst. But I've experienced that problem often with facebook and other apps.

If you have multi windows/apps running and opening or playing something else interrupts your current process , it sounds like your computer might be running out of resources. Whats your system specs ?

A little "blip" in tying shouldn't be a real issue but if you have to refresh the entire page that could show a resource problem.

Well you can easily find out of its FF, just downloaded another browser. Try chrome, or IE. Virus ? doubtful.
