I'm not understanding the "why was she left alone" part too much.

Prob BECAUSE, even if they knew the guy was a dirtbag, the last thing on anyones mind was he would do something like this. I've left friends at bars, houses, anywhere. If they are drunk and disagreeable they can sleep on a curb for all I care.
I let my own brother sleep in the backyard with the wildlife because he was too drunk to listen to me or take any advice. Passively draggin drunks around usually just results in fists being thrown.

Ideally you want your friends to be safe but at the same time I'm not thier mommy.

This is HOWEVER a mans perspective which is extremely bias to this case.
With that said women DO need to follow more strict rules, and I am curious myself where the gf was?
I wanna say blood is blood and you need to look after your family ESPECIALLY if they are female, but at the same time I don't know the relationship so I won't sit here and judge.

its been like 5 years and i still cant believe how much i let him treat me like crap. after growing up a bit.. i looked bak and realized how much he manipulated me.
