Well if anyone know's anything about evolution, the egg did really come first, otherwise the chicken of today would not have been created. A hen will lay an egg, and a mutation will occur that creates the modern day chicken, that chicken hatches, and thrives, hence breeds and makes more modern day chickens, and so forth.

The egg DID come first.

first of all, anyone who's had an egg before is going to know it doesn't taste right and not buy them again.
you could not break even...an egg costs like 9 cents in china
I don't care how low your labor costs...that's tough to be and includes all raw materials

That fist clip is from a documentary on fake products from around the world, inc. shoes, jewelry, etc.

There are hundreds of clips on the web of this eggs in china.

I doubt the BBC or SBS would publish a bogus story, I dunno.

Maybe, maybe not.

You are telling me that they are going to go to all that work, mixing ingredients, and waiting for this thing to pop out all so that they can distribute something that is going to come back to them very quickly??? For this to work, you would have to play it for the long term.

You aren't dealing with the same profit margin with eggs as you are with jewelry, shoes, ect.

Ok, so lets assume I can produce fake eggs at 1/2 the price of a chicken egg if I mass produce them.

What do you do with millions of eggs.
You've got to somehow get them into stores...making them is the easy part.
Somehow you've got to get someone to retail them (either knowing they are or not). Lets pretend you have a way to get them onto shelves in stores. Like maybe you are a major egg distributor and you mix some fakes in.

But, if you're a major egg distributor, you've got a heck of a lot to loose. What are you doing messing around with fake eggs when you've got a big company to run?
Forget that for a second, cause we're out for a quick buck.

You've got millions of eggs on store shelves...those are going to end up in peoples kitchens and it's pretty freakin obvious what's going on when you crack the thing open...I mean the egg white is freakin solid. And lets face it, it doesn't taste like an egg.

Those eggs are going to generate a lot of complaints.
The stores are going to look to their egg supplier.
the stores aren't going to be making much extra here
could it possibly be worth it for them...no.

You would get executed for something like this in China.
I'm sorry but there is no possible way this can be done on a large scale. On a small scale there is no pay off.
