This is Mickey, one of my marmoset monkeys. The dining room in my house is converted to a large marmoset habitat.

Here is an old pic ( notice the beard) of Onyx, the black leopard. He passed away several years ago ( natural causes) , but before he did, he tried to remove the bicep from my right arm. This one got me good.

I have a ton of pics, one last one then I'm done. This was taken in Parys, South Africa at the Savannah Cheetah Foundation. This is Nalah, she and I became great friends.

I've been working with critters like this for twenty years. I've raised pretty much every animal you can name. One time or another, they have all tried to kill me. It keeps you on your toes.

That's the unfortunate thing about working with animals. There is NO money in it. You do it because you love it. I have had to keep a job at a bar the whole time, or I couldn't pay my bills.

Sorry to BJJ for totally hijacking his thread.

Here is a shot of me swimming with three ( only two in the pic) young female white tigers. These girls are sisters and all are in the 200- 250 lb pound range. Fully intact ( teeth, claws, sex organs) . I'm the one with the ridiculous beard.

Everybody needs to experience a lion roar once in their lives. The cats are massive, but the amount of noise that comes from within these things is just mind blowing. I've never once heard a recording that anywhere near mimicks what comes from those creatures.

Glad you got to experience that.
