hardgainers
I am new here but cannot help but notice that just about all new members getting ready to start there first cycle is a hardgainer with a perfect diet . If you are 6'3 and 185 your diet sucks and you are hard headed and lazy not a hard gainer.

I think the term hardgainer is a joke. A hardgainer is an under eater, plain and simple.

Hardgainer = don't eat enough
I'm sick of people using that to justify their twig arms/legs

I'm a typical "hardgainer". I believe this with everything inside me: once a 'hardgainer' learns to eat for size, they have the best shape for a body builder.
I have to fight for each pound I hold on to. But I do hold on to those pounds. Diet is so hard for people to understand. We get bombarded with 'healthy eating plans' and what not by the media all the time. Those plans have NOTHING to do with building muscle. Nearly every kid on here says,"My diet is perfect." Then he consumes 2000 calories and can't figure out why he won't grow.
Wow, I just got on a soapbox. Sorry.

The hard gaining part for me is that I have some stomach problems so Its hard for me to eat as much as I should.
I do my best though,
for those "hardgainers" Ever single day is a battle in the kitchen for me

There are definitely people that put on muscle easier than others, but I do think some people use the term as an excuse. "I eat 2 eggs for breakfast...I'm a hardgainer."

All it comes down to is dedication..... I used to think I was dedicated..... until i set myself up with a really good routine. Then i thought.... "NOW - i'm dedicated"..... but then I learned what foods and how many calories helped me put on mass..... and then I KNEW I was dedicated.
Putting the time in to find out what works for you is the most priceless thing you could do for yourself. All those weeks dieting to find out that your diet sucked is a priceless time..... now you adjust it.... and tweak it.... until you figure out what works.
YOU CANNOT CALL YOURSELF A HARDGAINER UNTIL YOU'VE DEDICATED YOURSELF..... PERIOD

I'm short but I don't think gaining is hard, its the staying lean part while doing it. If I have to sacrifice oreos and marshmellow cream I don't understand the point of living.
THAT is dedication my friend. Dedication to life lmao

It's because all the hard gainers besides from diet sucks is they have been working out 2 or 3 whole months and dont see any/much of a change. hahahahaha
They seem to think that it's like in the magazines or the PX90 crap where you make this amazing transformation in 90 days. GOOD LUCK!!!! I dont care what type of AAS you are taking it doesnt work that way.
Also the guys who think doing one cycle will make them look like Arnold or??? They just have no clue that it still takes YEARS of training, dieting and HARD work even with AAS to get in good shape.
It's all part of the instant gratification generation.

That will change soon enough, once you reach mid 20s
What are you 15? LOL
It's all about how active you are unless you have a thyroid problem like all the obese people. It's not all the food they stuff in their mouth and sit on the couch all day it's a medical issue.
Learn what to eat, when to eat it (it makes a difference) and how to work out properly and you will gain. Simple as that. Even if you have the worst genetics you will still gain if you eat right.
I remember when I was in my mid 20s. I worked out 5-6 days a week, 2 hrs a day and I though my diet was pretty good. I could not get above 150 lbs max....
20 years later and I realize my diet SUCKED, my workout routine SUCKED. Later in life I got FAT, 210 lbs, hadnt worked out in many years. Hmmm I seemed to have learned how to gain. LOL I also ate a lot more steak and red meat.
After I decided to get my life back on track and learned what to eat and eat 6+ times a day I dropped 40 lbs in under 6 months. After getting in the gym full time the hardest part was eating enough to gain the weight back and still loose more fat.
If I keep my protein intake up I stay around 180+ lbs. Im trying to reach 190. It's because now I am more active, working out 5x a week 1 hr + and some cardio.
Stop making excuses or looking for magic. It's all hard work but worth it.
