His campaign was structured on "change"; promising Americans that his administration would do just that. The stimulus plan was a scam, the war issues remain the same, and the health care bill looks scary at best. Is this the change everyone envisioned? This poll and others like it obviously reflect how Americans feel.

I don't exactly know my feelings on him. You can't really rate a president this early in his term. You can't just come in and change everything all at once. He first has to write up the bills to make the changes and then they have to go through the lengthy approvals. Anyone who thought that by electing him everything would be different the day he went into office is just dumb and naieve. He may or may not turn out to be a decent president. Until we can look back at his before and after there's no telling.

he seems to genuinly care. Health care in america is broken!! he is the first to tackle the contravesial issue. Now we sit back and see if he can fix it. But he doesnt seem to have hidden agendas. like our last president.

He hasn't tackled the healthcare issue himself..... this has been going on for a long time..... it's just never gotten this far.....

Everyone keeps going back to the Bush era for our problems. Look closely at where some of this stimulus money has gone and how it's being spent. Everyone of them has agendas! The guy I was responding to stated that Obama is the first one to tackle this issue. That article was just an example, showing that the Clinton administration also looked at this, but congress shut it down.

That article shows that democrats seem to be more interested in the well being of the public. Yes Clinton also tried to refrom health care and that article makes good points of how he went about it the wrong way. But he has all my respect cause he tried. Clinton without a doubt has been the best president since my birth (1987) and Obama has learned from Clintons mistakes and seems poised to make a change.

republicans need to give credit where it is due. economically Clinton was a genius. Helped by the dot com times maybe but he was able to balance the budget while extendeding various social welfare programs like medicaid to the elderly. hell we even had a surplus when he was around. Only other president impeached was nixon(r) and guess wat. economically speaking he was great too.

California was ****ed by pete wilson and davies. a rep and a dem. We got a bi partisan ****ing there. Currently Arnold is a republican and he has done soooo little. And on illegal immigration your only getting half the scoop. Consider it personal experience when i tell you that over 80% of them pay taxes ( through fake ssn's or a tin) into a system that they will never recieve benefits from. Maybe occasionally a er visit to an uninsured immigrant will cost some but more then likely he pays taxes. Seriously i think the numbers were something like illegal immigrants cost the govt 3 billion dollars but they paying into the system something like 80 billion. So educated urself

Moose i gurantee you that most illegal immigrants come here to work hard and make a good life for themselves. My family did just that and for 16 years we paid taxes and got nothing in return. when i came of age to work i did just the same. When it was time to go to college i got 0 help from uncle sam while some ****ers barely passing any classes get in the excess of 2000 per semester. I was lucky enough to finally get my papers but i got countless family members and friends still here illegally. they ALL pay taxes. i dont know a single one who doesnt. I only say 80% and not 100% cuz there are some asses out there. but i never seen any.

ONly reason immigrants would except cash only jobs is cuz the govnt has been cracking down harder and fake ssn's.
