Wtf is that?!
Holy hell. I am on of those people who are fascinated by spiders/wildlife but cant touch a spider with out having my skin crawl.
If I pulled my clock off the wall and this thing was behind it, I think all the blood would leave my face and I would probably wind up on the floor. Talk about the heebee geebees.

I would be right there with you. I could walk through a pit of snakes without a problem but I freak everytime I walk into a spider web.

I'd burn the house down.

Saw a video on Youtube once of a black widow bite. The shit literally looked like a bullet hole in the guys abdomen with puss and blood oozing out of it. He had to pack it with gauze. It was disgusting. Spiders bother me but snakes are my biggest fear for sure. I can barely even watch them on TV. Creeps me out.

ive never had a spider do that but i once had a bat behind a picture in my home....it kept rattling ever so slightly on the wall so i keept looking around the house to see where the noise was comming from....as i norrowed it down to the picture i walked over to itand pressed on it to see if it was rattling and it flew of the wall on to my head...i never saw the bat so i turned of the light and sat bac down on the couch....within a minute somthing flew by my head back and forth and i immidiatly knew what it was....so i was a bit freaked and knew i had to kill it so i put on my leather coat,a hat some long pants and grabbed a hokey stick.....i battled the bat and finnally got it....i must have made a lot of noise cus the wife woke up and saw me in my battle gear and started screaming bloody murder thinking i was an intruder....she was so freaked out that even as im taking the stuff off and saying honey its just me she just kept on screaming....i really shook her up to say the least....

LMAO there was a bat in my parents house when I was younger..... I was sleeping and it flew into my room. I woke up to a raging lunatic (my father) in a guinea tea swinging a broom like a baseball bat. He finally connected and it flew into the ceiling fan which was on and it shot it clear across the other side of the room.....

I second this....hate spiders.
But relative. Anyone know how to keep spiders out of your home? I only get daddy longlegs and some other small light brown breed, but I hate them. Best way to keep them out? do those electrical socket things work? Anyone have any results with those "Spider Plugs" ?

I HATE spiders and always have. Snakes are GREAT. But for some reason the bigger the spider the less scared I am.
When I was in the Philippines at the GF's parents house I got up to get something off the tip of the fridge (my camera I think) and this spider the size of my hand stretched out was right next to it. I did not see it until it JUMPED off the fridge onto the wall.
I swear to God my heart just stopped. I did good. No scream, didnt faint, didnt react like a little school girl but my heart stopped and was in my throat for sure. I have some pictures I will post again later.
I have seen the clock spider several times over the last few years.. BIG
They say per national geographical the Tarantula is still the biggest spider getting to be over 1ft at times....
