My wife and her gf's goto the social things at the gym all the time. They get dressed like they are gonig to the club. I'm sure there are lots of hot gym girls there. I dont know why you wouldnt go.

Decided not to go with golds and went with powerhouse instead. Dumbells go up to 200lbs and they have every piece of equipment you could ask for. Also there's no cardio in sight of the weights.

i checked the one in plano cause it was close to my wotk and i was given a free pass. The hours were really bad and you jnow how i feel about the rest of the place

A new Golds opened up close to my house...I went to check it out and it is crap. Very little equipment and all of the dbs are squished into one corner. If you pick up a set of db there is no room for somebody else to pass....there is no space to workout in general

You get to socialise with people that are into working out and have fun. You dont have to eat the pizza or drink. Lighten up. None of you are professional bodybuilders. relax

I know that, when ur out for the $$ you have to bring what everyone wants. Its just sad that a part of the sport seems lost in the midst of the commercial bullshit. I'm not a pro bodybuilder, dont want to be one either. But I still like the hardcore atmosphere

That equipment is top notch, Nebula leg sled and hack squat, best and smoothest there is. Dumbbell platforms for flat presses, vertical leg press, etc etc. And the owner seems cool as shit, I'd rather give a place like that my $$

yep, only private training for sure, put "Trainer" on your shirt and a website they can reach you at, and train in that.. you'll get calls for sure. or an local phone #..

Pisses off my gym too.. i have to keep training there because they send so many people to me to get certified, but i only train 4 hrs 1 day a week there now, but its enough..

private gym $13 per session.. or $350 unlimited access you can train as many as you want there.. that's the deal i found.. love that one..
