Can wait to hit 'em on Saturday... does anyone do incline presses immediately after squats? I've been doing that lately and my legs kill for 3-4 days afterward. Here's my typical lineup lately:
Squat
Incline presses
extentions (sometimes one leg after both)
curls (sometimes seated after belly down)
crush calves (3-4 movements)
Love it..

I LOVE doing legs so much, that I train them 4 out of 5 days for 30-40 mins
I figure, if I can work my upper 5 days, I sure as shit can work my lower for 4.
I like the limping and soreness. Its funny as hell going gimpy.
I just get sad bc it sucks the pump out of my upper body.

I actually had a great workout.....
Leg extensions
Leg Curls
Hack squats
Calfs (heavy and light)
I do hack squats because my knees can't take full barbell squats.....

I still do same number of exercises, just much much longer sets spread out throughout the week. I like the constant pain. Rather than doing 3 to 5 sets of squats (which I love). Id rather spend 40 minutes doing 15 to 20 sets one day, then do another marathon the next. Might be dumb but fvck it. Love it.

My legs aren't huge by any means but they aren't chicken legs LOL..... I do just fine for the cards i've been dealt. I look at it like this..... I will go as heavy as I can without causing pain. If my knees hurt - I wont do them. What good will going heavy on my knees now do when I need replacements when I'm 40?

Exactly, I only went as heavy as 3 plates when I was younger, didnt care what others were doing. Im proportionate enough for my likes. You can do a decent job with a combination of other excersises.

Pre-exhausting is a very good technique to avoid THAT heavy squats... (Hence preventing knee pain and injuries)
Try doing a drop set of leg extensions (with proper cadence, contracting at the top for at least 2 sec, and with perfect form) and then go immediately to front squats... You'll know PAIN, and it's not bad for your knees, because there's no chance you could use heavy weights in the front squat after that mini-torture.
And then hamstrings...
