I noticed that with the glock i shot. Felt like there was way too much "travel" in the trigger. Right now i am not a gun owner so not sure what you call it. Dead space or whatever.

I fixed that on all my glocks, look up trigger stop, its adjustable to the break, once mine fires theres noplay at all

then what does it take?

the semi ARs do not have the auto sear in them that catches and releases the hammer before the secondary catch catches the hammer. That is why you cant take a pin out of your semi auto ar because it would still be missing the parts (auto sear) that would make it full auto
