2. Poutine is not just fries mozza and gravy. It's fries with *CURD CHEESE* (squeaky kind, and only the white ones, not orange mozza kind) and POUTINE GRAVY (It's not just your normal gravy). Everyone that's in Canada but outside Québec bastardized this meal to be fries cheese and gravy. It's f*cking gross if it's not done properly. I'm originally from Québec but I live out west now and I never order a poutine here, unless it's from a chain restaurant that has locations in Québec like McDonalds (where I never go) because that's the closest thing to a poutine you'll get if you're not in Québec.
