Pics of why I am Vettewreck
My 1995 Corvette. Bought it from a 65y/o man and it was in mint condition. This is where my name comes from.
This is my '04 Supercharged vette I bought after. My dad and I cut the hood ourselves and it turned out perfect. 501rwhp (roughly 600hp motor)
I ran a best of 11.0 @ 127mph in the quarter with a 6.99 @ 101mph in the 1/8.

Owned a 2005 C6 Z51 Millenium Yellow vette. Cartek did all the work, 600 HP, miss it dearly. Sold it a couple months back.
Very clean C5, what made you go with the base over the C5 ZO6?Last edited by jnewton86; 01-23-2011 at 03:08 PM.

What you have done to get to 600hp? I assume heads and a big cam, LTs...
I went with a base bc I knew I was gonna boost it and the Z06 has a higher compression ratio and cant take as high boost as the base LS1 can, so in turn, I get more power with mods done to it. Plus, im not a big fan of the C5 Z06 body style. I hate the trunk look.
Thats a weird looking car, but cool looking!Last edited by vettewreck; 01-23-2011 at 05:31 PM.

they have a cult following here and the UK, acquired taste but you cant fault the italian styling, often referred to as the poor mans ferrari.
i'd love a big engined car like a vette but just couldnt insure or fuel it here, 3.5L would be my limit thts why ive the 'blade for speed kicks lol.
you can put a bigger turbo on the coupe and all the other bits and bobs, some in england are running close on 500bhp and sub 4sec 0-60mph which is alot out of a 2.0L 5cyl engine !
the only 'big' engine common cars here are the 3.5 350zs, 3.2 r32 golfs, within sensible insurance pricesLast edited by dec11; 01-23-2011 at 06:21 PM.

http://ironbullbumpers.com/nissan.html I am the 9th picture, I have done alot more since that picture the bumper is now full of lights and a winch and steps on the truck and some other fun stuff.
It also has a few things under the hood so that you corvettes only beat me by half a mile instead of a whole mile lol jk Titans are pretty fast for gas trucks

Depending on the generation, the AWD is undoubtedly going to launch better then the ZO6. Just like the STI's, with alot of work a turbo four cylinder will smoke alot of cars, although you are pushing the limits of the engine. Vettes can produce much more power with little money put into it. Look at the "Gobstopper" 22b, that produces 850 HP with nitrous and a huge turbo, that car has more money put into it then the vast majority of people will ever put into a car. Vettes on the otherhand can go above 1000HP easy. Both cars are awesome in their own ways. I highly doubt any DSM will outrun a vette in the longrun. All the videos posted were either a 1/4 mile or 1/2 at max.
