Censoring the number ***

I am fascinated that the number *** (seven hundred eighty) was censored out of a long address for a Flicker photo of my car that I tried to post in another thread. It made the photo unable to post. No big deal, but I have to know: how did that end up on the "banned" list?

Yeah I just tried to post a pic elsewhere on the board and it wouldn't post. It also had a combo of numbers and they were *** out and everytime I tried to put those numbers back in and repost it would remove them with the *** the numbers run at the end was 1248715*** and the *** always was *** out so it would not post. It doesnt like seven hundred eighty in the numbers run
