You consider that one of those lions is easily capable of killing three adult men, that's pretty ballsey stuff!

That does take one set of stones.

Not sure if I buy all of that...
They have the loins spooked , OK...
Walking away from a pride of lions with back towards them....yeah, not so much.

I honestly dont think its that big of a deal..
Lions are naturally scared of man because we've hunted them for thousands of years, note that they were also armed with big fvck off spears... I would have been more impressed if they would have done the same without the spears and dressed as sheep...

This is true. Obviously a film crew were there, who is to say that they just all didnt get in a car. Like the doco said, it's a bluff that only works for a minute or two before the Lions wise up. And yeah, just walking off like that with a haunch of buffalo on your shoulder and not expecting those lionesses to not give pursuit??

The lions probably just want to get back to the carcass. In the video a lioness just grabs the body (the majority of the kill) and drags it back in to keep the interruption from happening again.
I wonder how many fatalities the tribe has suffered over the years from this scavenging technique.

Ha....you must be one of those soft belly, metro, city slickers types huh.
You should aim to make and hold eye contact with the lion at all times as with many wild animal species, prolonged eye contact indicates dominance, even when you are walking away.
You will thank me for that life saving info one day....

It would have been funnier if all fifteen lions ran back and ate them.

LMAO, I would NOT recommend looking animals in the eye and maintaining contact AT ALL! This isnt Crocodile Dundee, you do something like that to an animal as powerful as a lion and it's GOING to see that as a challenge.
I would recommend NOT looking animals in the eye. I would recommend not being that close in the first to animals of that nature.
