Because you called it stupid. Anyway, so you trained for powerlifting but never competed, is that what you are saying? Because that's not what you stated above. You stated that your powerlifted throughout high school and college. So forgive me if I assumed that you competed. I also leads one to believe that you would max out more frequently if you did powerlift considering the goal of powerlifting is to achieve personal bests at the end of each training cycle. So either you didn't train for powerlifting or you just incorporated the powerlifts into your training regime.

Either way your opinion is always welcomed, I just understand why you would call it stupid. That, IMO, minimizes this kid's accomplishment of doing what only 1 or 2 other teens have ever done.

doesnt take anything away from his lift. How he lifts has nothing to do with what he lifted... its a massive amount of weight, I just gave my opinion on what I saw as potentially damaging form. I was the one who mentionned how amazing it was that he did it without wraps
