    How big?

What kind of size and mass are you looking to achieve from bodybuilding?

185 8-9%bf at 5-6 just maintain. Then some day step on stage at some point even if for a little show. I actually consider myself a bodybuilder these days. Before I thought of myself as a weightlifter just trying to look good for babes and myself now i am actually a fan of the sport makes me want to take my physique to the next level.

I want to do it slow and steady instead of just throwing on a bunch of fat and looking like shit.

185 @ 8% without using much gear. I wanna be able to maintain that without constantly having to think about eating and working out. It's only 15lbs but less bodyfat.

Mostly its a look and I think that look will be achieved at those stats.

At 5'9, the most I got natural was around 185, and trust me...i was eating a stack of food to get that. Im not near that at the moment, but I'd like to hit the 200 pound mark one day.

Im beginning to wonder if i do need to turn to the dark side to get that. I mean when I mean one day, i mean one day soon...not 5 years time.

    Who knows?

I remember being a seriously skinny guy and seeing an MMA guy who was 5'9" 170 and thinking, "I wish I looked like that!" I've found that I can maintain a lean 170 naturally at 5'7" (without being a total diet nazi)-- and it's just not good enough.

My next push is for 190, which would be a new personal best. Ultimately I'd like to break 200 and probably hold around there, but I worry that with my body type gear would be necessary not just to achieve that mark but maintain it as well. I'm not so sure about the level to which I am ready to commit myself to the lifestyle, but I still have time to decide.

I seriously would be happy at 220. I would change the way I trained a little and really try to sculpt myself. Maybe end of next winter. I want to be big, but be managable.

Your my height and when I was 190 I got the most compliments on how I looked. You can get it, you have to stay dedicated ALL the time and it will come.

Im currently 6'3" 300-310lbs and 17-18%bf.......its very uncomfortable and draining. That guy in the pic is now up to 340lbs and leaner than that pic, I dont know how they do it without being totally wiped out and sluggish!

I can't understand why people this big don't have crazy joint issues and things like foot arch problems. How are your feet not in pain constantly?

my feet do start to ache if I stand for too long......im afraid my knees will have problems too because my father who is 6'5" 330lbs has really bad knees. I got down to 250 once and was pretty lean (very obvious abs) and i definitly felt better but it just wasnt my style to have that look and give up my strength.

You sir have reading comprehension problems, my buddy (that did that) wasn't in MMA and I have very few friends in MMA. That story was based on the thread where juiceheads think they can fight because they are big my defense was that my buddy took care of one without even trying and he isn't HUGE or some super doper-cage fighter.

Juiceheads act hard and go down harder

My thoughts exactly. I am 5'7" and around 11% now, but only 170lbs. Took a lot of work to get there and stay lean. The xtra 15lbs and drop a cpl % pts would be my ideal. Then staY there.

5'7", 200, 10%. And stay there without depriving myself of shit. I also want my flexibility back. It's gone to shit since I started going heavy.

I used to want to look like Arnold so damn bad, but now that I'm older (37), I'm more interested in making the cover of "Men's Health" instead of "Muscle & Fitness."

Exactly, that would be such a burden. You couldn't fit into any good looking clothes and you put on a suit you look like a gorilla. Depressing...

How clean is your diet?? Do you do cardio, it helps. Im 5'7" btween 210-215 and I feel like you too. You should work on slowly getting your bf down to 12-13%, that a nice happy medium. Must be nice being a monster, sometimes I think how nice it must be to look down to everybody.....I didnt know we had a 300lb'r here !!!!

That's a picture of Derek Poundstone and he's barely 6' tall. His weight does fluctuate between 320-340 and he's ripped now. Just youtube his posedown with some bodybuilder/powerlifter.

I'm 6'4 and just over 300lbs at about 18-20%, I would love to be in the 12-15% range and continue to get stronger. If you're naturally a big guy already, joint issues aren't an issue (unless you've had previous injuries). Bigger guys have the joints to handle larger weight and body mass.
