No offense, mate, and I'm sure you'll disagree, but couldn't you have taken the lion tamer approach and held him off with the stool, using it to keep a little distance, instead of "bash(ing) his fvcking head in"? That way the police could've been called while you toyed with the dangerous animal.

It is very well considered a weapon and not to mention it was a broken beer bottle which is even worse. That person could easily been charged with an attempted murder charge for coming at someone like that. That would be like pulling a knife.

If it went down how he said it did, he should truly have no problems. Basically, he used a weapon in fear of his life. That is what I would say
The OP never said the bottle was broken

Fortunate to be in Arizona where anyone can carry concealed. Self defense; if you shoot someone it is the State's burden to prove that it was not self defense.
But don't go to jail ****ing with street trash.

as i do the same job, i'll disagree. a crowd sees a doorman joisting someone with a stool they 9 times out of 10 will pile in on the doorman to 'help the poor guy out', if they see the doorman giving the offender what not they'll think 'fvck, im not messing with that'. and for the record, if someone pulled a bottle on me i'd massacre the prick. in that situation you arent thinking about consequences, you are think about self preservation.

I went down to the police station today, to see how fast the paper work was rolling. The seargant informed me that the man dropped his charges and was not going to follow through. This can be considered a good thing, but now I have to worry about the motherfvcker coming back with a loaded pistol or a knife or just doing a drive by to get "even" with me. I wonder why god damn street animals like that exist. 6 more months until I'm a cop, and it will be time to take out the trash....

And then I would have to worry about another one one these fvcking scumbags coming up behind me or from the side with a weapon. This is how all the inner city scumbags roll. In large groups, with guns, knives, are at the minimum brass knuckles.

Your going to be a cop??

Now that is some funny sh#t. Honestly Bro, you need some help before making that step....I mean it man, for your own sake, otherwise you will end up in court, sacked or worse....

I'm speaking from trials and tribulations I had at your age and also watching 2 mates go to jail for manslaughter and GBH. Don't put yourself in these positions until you get your head under control.

    Peace

I know what you're saying...and I've thought the same thing. It's just been a very rough summer for me. It seems like a whole bunch of bad shit just hit me and happened all at once. But life goes on.

We've heard it all my friend...tell me you haven't heard these lines while tossing some out of a club:

"One phone call...and I'll have you whacked."
"Do you know who my uncle is?"
"I'm an MMA fighter, I dare you to put your hands on me."
"I was in the military, I don't have to leave.."
"I'll get you when you're walking to your car after work."

Okay...now the best line I ever heard was this:

    "I'm Tony Soprano's nephew."

I didn't know fictional television characters came to life and had families?

Yeah man...but that 1/10 is all it takes. I got shot at, fought knives, broken glasses and a fence post and I was a nice guy(mostly)....but if you can't handle the mental stress of those possibilities....find something else before you do harm to yourself or others.

lol. One club i worked at all the guys outside at the door wore vests.
Another club i worked out was run by the mob. So it was funny when people would run their mouths.
We took shit off a few people selling drugs in the bathrooms. took their stash and cash. They would say im coming back with my crew your all dead. Ok tell your boys you got caught selling in Mr. XXXX's club. See if they want to come back with you. They never came back

tht 1/10 time is going to be a known gangster and, in my case, dublin is a small enough city for them to be known by someone in the club, so you approach them differently. this city is crazy atm, google dublin and gangland and you'll see what i mean. theres also the fact we know alot of heavies who would back us up and they dont appreciate the small timers bringing attention to where they hang about

just when you mention the MMA, id a clown approach one night wearing a tap out t-shirt and id refused him, while advancing towards me he pointed at his shirt mouthing 'do you fvckin know what this means'? 3secs later he was face down on the ground with my knee in the back of his neck and i said 'so, do you want to tap out yet'? lmao

Don't even get me started on those motherfvckers..I'd have more respect for a man that walked around with a shirt that read DOUCHEBAG instead of Tapout.

Yeah, my bad I read it wrong...But either way, like I was saying even an unbroken bottle is still considered a weapon. If you hit someone or try to hit someone with a beer bottle you can easily get an attempted murder charge just like the guy I know.
