What would you say the best money you've ever spent on workout related gear was?
Other than the obvious (food and gear (of the anabolic variety), what would you guys say was some of your favorite purchases/best money spent in terms of workout gear or anything else that has helped you reach your body transformation goals. You know, stuff you've gotten a lot of use out of, stuff that ended up being more useful than you expected, or really anything you'd like to mention for whatever personal reasons you may have... some examples would be like for instance:
a hydration pack for use on long runs
an awesome blender
a cool food scale
a particular workout acessory or machine etc.
you know stuff that maybe you might think are "hidden gems" not all too many people use (or haven't talked much about on the forums) but you find very useful.
I ask because I enjoy buying cool stuff like this just as much as I enjoy the lifestyle so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions worth looking intoLast edited by GZA; 09-14-2011 at 02:48 AM.

$9 a month for gym membership.
$5 for a towel to lay on the bench, preacher curl bench and any other equipment I use

Haha, yeah I think a gym membership goes into the obvious category But that is a pretty cheap gym membership, mines $25 a month and I thought that was cheap... I do however prefer working out at home nowadays since it's more convenient for me to get my pre/post meals in (actually my second fridge is right in the patio, in the same room with my home gym But yeah, I'm thinking now, maybe I should have said "Other than the obvious, food gear and gym membership"

My girlfriend bought me a Magic Bullet blender when we first got together. It was $50 at Target for the whole kit. It was a lifesaver during cycles. I was blending up all kinds of awesome shakes. I probably used it 3-4 times a day until it finally died a couple months ago.

The suits and shirt part here are interesting, are you a powerlifter or did these somehow help you with your bodybuilding goals? And if so in what way? Breaking plateus?

haha!!!! I didn't know what a bathmate was so I looked it up thinking "oh maybe I should get one" haha and it turns out it's a penis enlarger hahahahahaha!!!!
but yeah, lots of tupperwear, havent bought a juicer though maybe I should... oh and I was actually just looking into buying a nice cooler for lugging my meals around when I go places... and about the pots... have you (or anyone else here) found any that won't stick to let's say eggs if you cook them without oil???) sometimes my meals might call for eggwhites with no olive oil (for protein/carb meals) and I always have a sticking problem. I use standard stanless steel pots so I don't remove any teflon when I take the steel wool to them for scrubbing but I was thinking if I bought a high enough quality non stick pan maybe they won't stick even If I don't use oil... has anybody had any luck doing this with great pans?

Yeah Bathmate rules, get one. Hey it's BBing in a way!
Nonstick pans rock with Pam. Lightly coat, wont affect macros. And if it does... do 5 extra minutes cardio.
And get this bag.
