but we bent over an took it, cuz they are so cheep (20.00 month includes unlimted tanning and haircuts and you can bring a friend for free unlimited and personal trainer ~ altho after my session with the trainer, I think the trainer knows less than we do) so it only costs 40 a month for me tiger and the 2 evil teens

Planet Fitness is so stupid because they are the opposite of what a gym should be (pizza night on fridays... Really!?). But I applaud them for being the only place in America to stand up for something. Everyone is always so damn scared to step on everyone else's toes here. If they want to discriminate, go ahead. Who am I to tell them who they should or should not let on their private property? I wouldn't even care if they stopped letting white (or any other race) in. Vote with your dollars. I take my dollars to 24 hour fitness where I can grunt if I want.

I like the idea of a gym that makes new people comfortable. My mother-in-law is terrified of going to the gym because she hates her body and thinks she will be judged (her actual word). Planet Fitness would be perfect for her. But, they obviously are only concerned with getting new people to join, since a member that sees results will want to get more serious. As soon as they get more serious, they will start to be frustrated by PF's rules.

I find planet fitness to be laughable they put one near my old high school it put the other gym next door out of business because of there 10 dollar membership deal the whole fooball team has made it a tradition now to apply for a membership and bring a friend , they set it up so that a group of kids between six to ten of them will go in scream and grunt loudly and dropping weights like crazy and they do this for about a week or so . Theres over 120 players between the varsity, jv and freshmen and each year theres new kids this process has been going on for the past 2-3 years its funny one kid held the record for setting the alarm off 5 times , it drives the staff thjere insane XD

She would be getting SOME exercise. Then she would start to get results. Then she would get more serious. Then she would start making noise. Then she would need to go to another gym. As I pointed out...that gym would be perfect for her for a few months.

My point was there are people that are perfect for a gym that discourages bodybuilders and fanatics. But PF's rules are SO stupid that their demographic can never progress, which makes it stupid. Still, I am petitioning my gym to have pizza night!

I have Tiger sign us all in cuz they also have buckets of grape and reg tottsie rolls at the counter for free and it just svcks when I have a craving (the candy sings to me)

but the fact is that I have been a memeber for years an years at several diff branches and yes sometimes the lunk alarm will go off (tiger set it off 2x at least that I know of for "banging weights") the staff never even approaches any one about it. IMO you have to be supper good at being an *ss if you managed to actualy get kicked out lol.

temptaion of unhealthy food sucks but it does actualy pay for our memberships in savings (two 16year old boys-they eat 20.00 in pizza @ the gym, and its basicly the only junk food they get with us-lol ) so I see it as a free gym with free hair cuts and free tanning and even tho I b*tch about the stupid rules, its an AWSOME deal!
