Well the GPS tracker wasn't available as my brother was using it for something else work related. So I just followed him home from his work one day to find out where he lives.
Last night (2 am-ish) after dropping my gf off at her house I decided to swing by this guys place to see what was up and as I pulled on to his block I saw him turning the corner at the other end of the street. So I caught up to him, followed him for a bit until he pulled into a gas station. I sat at the next business over from the station and watched, he walked out with a key and went around the back. I was assuming he was going to use the bathroom. So I told myself **** it it's now or never. I got out of my car and jogged over there and tried to get in the bathroom but it was locked as he was already in it, so I waited for him to come out and sucker punched him. He went down, I mounted him and just started wailing on his face. He was saying "please please stop stop please"...at this point my hand is kinda ****ed up so I was gonna go to elbows but I was like neh it's enough (he's a pretty little guy, didn't want to do serious damage). I told him "STOP ****ING STEALING!" and I stood up, flipped him over, grabbed his wallet and took his cash ($110). Left the wallet and everything else. I ran away on foot, not going to my car as I didn't want him to see it or my plate, and hid in a spot where I could have good overwatch on the gas station but wouldn't be seen. He laid there for a bit, got up, stumbled to his car and left. Then I returned to my car and went home.
I think he was rather confused as he had no idea who I was, he quit talking when I told him to stop stealing.

Yeah. I don't like hurting people, but have no problem doing it when it's warranted. I've worked doors and VIP security a few times and have always gone out of my way to avoid a fight, but sometimes it's unavoidable and people want to make things physical. I didn't want to hurt this kid, I called him right after the incident occured and told him if he brought the books back everything would be cool, he didn't so this is what happened.

Pretty cool story noomoto... it sounds like a good ending. I would like to throw in that any reading this and thinking that they can go around handling shit like this need to take caution. I have seen some crazy shit gone bad. Dec11, as far as things getting handled differently in the UK... that is cool. But in the states people carry guns. There are rough people all over the world. The US has some really high crime rates comparatively. If I can trust that people aren't packing, I would suggest this behavior... unfortunately there is no fair game in the crime world here. Everyone needs to think real hard about taking certain things in your own hands and find out what it's worth.
True story... I had a friend that I use to run the streets with when we were younger. Pretty tough dude that can handle his business. Years later a guy burned him on some money. My friend whipped the dog shit out of him with his knuckles. A few weeks later the guy and about 7 other dudes kicked his door in with shotguns and luckily he wasn't there, but they robbed his place. It was at an apartment complex too.. there were others that seen it happen. Never arrested those guys, but my friend had to leave town. He ended up being ass out of more money than the first time.
Bottom line for me is to think hard before acting. What's it worth? I am a proud man too and not sure I know where to draw the line in these tough situations, but as you get older and have things to lose...the wheels need to turn before you act.

I hear ya... regardless, it is a tough call for most men. I'm not sure how I would handle.... when sane, I try to use the voice of reason. To reverse what you said that "its never going to happen to any of us until it does", can be used the opposite when you are the one getting juked by some punk ass kid. Tough call for sure. Glad nooomoto taught that kid a lesson.

i suppose its kinda diff for me aswell being originally from small town n. ireland, you didnt involve police if you valued your knee caps etc, people fought and sorted out their differences and outsiders would have been massacred for doing the likes of what that kid did to moto's girl. different places, different consequences i suppose.

Hopefully there were not cams at the gas station that might catch you running from across the street and hopefully he does not call the police to report it and gets the idea it's karma coming back to bit him in the ass from his stealing. It's doubtful your GF is his first victim so he probably has no idea who it was. Glad to hear he got what he deserved and hopefully it was a life changing experience for him.

He got what he deserved.
However I donīt understand how you dear to punch someone like that.
What I mean is, you could have disabled or killed him, from your punch or his fall.
He could have a pre-existing medical condition making him more vulnerable.
I worked lots at the door and security many places US and Europe. 3 years different clubs on Miami Beach.
After putting a guy in the hospital after 1 punch, I became a grabber. I felt so bad.
Iīm 6'4", 240lbs. I know if I throw one and it lands, itīs gonna cause some serious damage, so I avoid fight like the plague.
This guy did exactly what you did. You got lucky, he didnīt....

Yeah it's a tough call and most of us never thing about the what if, we just react. I know even in high school I did everything I could not to get in a fight. Not because I'm big, I'm only 5'8" and I was not huge by any means but in decent shape. I didnt want to fight/hit anyone because I had hit plenty of thing in my past out of anger/rage and I saw the damage I did to solid objects and always though if I ever hit a person with that force it would for sure break a jaw, jam their nose up into their brain or break there face. I really thought I might kill someone but yet I have been sucker punched in the face/mouth by someone a lot bigger than me and I literally LOL at him. Non the less I have always been afraid of killing someone if I hit them full force. Honestly I have only ever hit one person and it was a punch to his chest. He slapped my GF ass after I warned him not to do it again. A week later he went to the doctor and found out he had a cracked rib. I had pulled the punch also...
Still, I think the the guy got what he deserved and hopefully it's a lesson learned.

I used to be a 911 dispatcher and a site we used all the time was 411.com. The only problem with this is that it won't work for cell phones. If you can swing the story to be considered telephone fraud it's actually the jurisdiction of the secret service (never knew they did more then protect important people) but try finding a local number for them in your area.
