Dont be afraid to give the mothers milk a try if she will share. It's really sort of bitter for the first couple of months but then gets pretty sweet tasting.

One of those experiences you have to try at least one besides when you are to young to remember. LOL

How are the nights going? I was lucky, my daughter pretty much slept straight through right from the beginning. I dont remember many sleepless nights, only when she was sick.
