How that album builds and the way they laid out the tracks in it are amazing. Fukin love that album. Its a great one to listen to as it builds and is recorded really well too.

    Modern metal is recorded awfully.

Maynard stepped into the recording booth in October for the new Tool album; instrumentals are all but done. As soon MJK is done -- whenever that may be -- they'll be done. Album release date isn't set, but they're saying "early" 2016, for whatever that's worth.

A lot of bands are going even lower, playing drop-a. That's when that deep, heavy, double-chug sound comes into play. Slipknot uses it quite a bit.

RIP Lemmy. Had the pleasure of seeing Motörhead live for the first time about 3 years ago at Mayhem Fest. Big loss to the metal world. Legend.

    TMZ
    Just saw the news.

I remember seeing Motorhead in a small underground club in Atlanta late '80s I think. They put on a great show. It was a wild, weird club that was mainly punk during the week.Huge floor to ceiling chainlink fence separated the bar side from the stage/mosh/stage diving side. LOL, I went to tap a kidney and the urinals were full and the sinks were being used as a toilet. I kicked open the door to oe of the stalls and someone had lowered the lid and dropped a steamy duece right on top of the lid. Someone had "drydocked" the other crapper. Finally was able to get to pisser.
Think the wife had more fun tripping on people than I did.

Lol AG sounds like a Motorhead concert all right. Friend of mine saw them round the 80s too they were and still are one of the loudest bands you can listen to live their PA's are meant to be huge ha.

Rip Lemmy a great loss but tbh I'm amazed he lasted so long esp after all the drugs he took.

Listening to some Tool here the Undertow album and there hasn't been a song I have dis liked. Really like their heavy and fast basslines and the drumming is class too.

I don't think they publish one on LM. One of the DJs had his own personal Devils Dozen but I don't see it posted.

Check out this dandy from Stone Sour with Lizzy Hale on the backup vocals. This is a bold and well done remake right here.
