It's an old Meshuggah song, Igi. Called "Gods of Rapture". Hadn't heard it in quite some time, but they played it on XM/Liquid Metal about 2:30 a.m. when I was on the way into work. Good stuff!

If.you can find an EP of theirs called None, I think that version is slightly rawer/ more early " Meshuggah-ish"?

Edit: In fact, I er, went and downloaded it Amazon Prime just now. Think I'm going to peep around and put some new.tunes in my cloud for lifting.

I found out about her from one of my female students about 12 years ago. I was saying "tongue in cheek" (not being harsh) that women could not sing metal, at least aggressive metal. This student, who just this year became a fellow teacher here turning me on to them & changed my mind.

I walked by her classroom the other day and she was playing some tame, generic stuff & I gave her sh*t. LOL

Anyone catch the Metallica performance with Lady Gaga last night at the Grammys? I missed it but just caught it on YouTube. Thought it was pretty good. Couldn't hear James for most of the first half. Could have been the video quality of maybe a mic issue.
