I hate when people say, "I hear If you stop working out all that muscle is going to turn into flab".

Muscle doesn't convert to fat! WTF!

Ever noticed guys how it's women that give the vast amount of ignorant and narrow minded comments when it comes to bodybuilding?

The only times it comes from guys are the fat fvcks.

I hate this one ... " when I was your age, I was twice your size."

Or every time u meet some1 new, they ask how much you bench.. And no matter what answer you give, they have a buddy who does about 40lbs more..

when i was growing up as a kid, i was very skinny. started working out when i was 13. my ol' man would always tell me not to work out too much, or else I'll get "muscle bound"

there have been several times in my life that my pops has come to me telling me i'm too big, cuz... "you don't want to get muscle bound"

it kinda pissed me off growing up, and especially when i look back, because his comments were not factual, and I really do not know what "muscle bound" is. does that mean my biceps get so huge i can't bend my arm and i am "bound up"?

My grand parents used to tell me the same thing so I asked them what it meant. The explanation I received was that your muscles get so big that you can't properly function anymore (I.e. scratch your back, tie your shoes, take of a coat, ect.) so my reply to them was I've never seen anyone who couldn't do these thing that was muscle bound so I wanted to be the first lol.

You know, sometimes I hate getting out of my fast car when women are around because all the above statements get made about my car as well. I am not really big, but if I was I can't imagine the amount of small dick, overcompensation comments that would be made quietly when I showed up somewhere. At least don't drive a big truck.

so true. You are overcompensating when driving a small fast car but driving a truck that has been ****ing jacked up 3 feet and oversized tires ichicks don't say anything about them.

I often hear the same thing, but I am older now so the guys all talk about when they were young. Surprisingly, as it becomes obvious that I work out, guys are coming out of the woodwork to tell me about how they used to be 220 at 8% body fat. Everyone was a rock star in their distorted hindsight.

I deal with something similar. My friend for example was like i can do 10 pullups. So then one day i take him to do back and came time for pull ups. Guess how much he did?
