I don't know how they survive any wipeout at Teahupoo! Place is ****ing nasty. I've been in plenty of heavy situations surfing all these years, that but place is way over the top. There has been at least 5 surfers killed there...not from drowning. And the place has only been actively surfed for ten years or so. Its a meat grinder.
