That looks pretty cool. I may start with hang gliding off a cliff to see how I like it.

Sky diving is fun. Also, back country skiing/snowboarding is a rush and one hell of a work out. Personally, I like shooting guns but that's why I joined the military.

I was born and raised in the south. If you wanta have a good time...just go do a bit of noodlin.

    Steps to noodlin.

    1. Find yourself a river and go buy a diving mask.
    2. Go to the river and look for some holes in the bank where a big catfish might spawn.
    3. Stick your hand back in the hole as far as you can.
    4. Pray to god that there's a fish in the hole and not a snake or snapping turtle
    5. Wiggle your hand around and wait for the bite.
    6. When you feel the bite - don't scream like a girl - grab the catfish and pull it out.
    7. Examine your hand to make sure it's still there.
    8. Take pics and show your friends.

I guarantee you that you'll never feel like more of a man than when you wrestle a 50lb catfish out of a hole!!!!

Do a lot of shooting at a tactical training camp in Nevada. Definitely lots of fun. Like to ski as well. Have not tried sky diving because I like to do things that I can control/navigate and sky diving seems a bit static although I am sure it is a great rush to jump out of a plane.

Bikeral, is this something that anyone can go to? Or for military people? I really enjoy shooting so it sure sounds awesome!

Vacation only? I guess you could do a racing school. If you're looking for a new adrenaline hobby get a sportbike and rail the crap outta it at a trackday. Not the cheapest thing in the world but oh so addicting and one hell of a rush.

I am definitely into motor sports. Had a few sport bikes but settled in to Harleys now. I've done some oval track racing but never drag. That is definitely something I'd like to try.

    Thanks

Oh man I'm not talking drag racing. That's not as big a rush, for me, as dragging knee at a buck forty. I'm talking road coarse racing. What a sportbike was built for.

Thanks for all the replies some good ideas. I was thinking of doing Baja on a dirt bike this spring but I have to say that noodlin has peaked my interest.

Head to the Dan River in southern central Virginia. Used to live there and my neighbor noodled a state record 90 lb. catfish. This guy was about 5' 6'' 195lbs. Biggggggg fish.

Do they just go themselves or go with guides? I'd like to do the whole run Encinada to Cabo and I am thinking I would need to go on one of the tours that have support vehicles since I am sure gas is scarce in some parts down there.

Ha! My wife was all excited to take her car (Porsche) to the drag strip with a bunch of our friends on a "run what ya brung" night. She made a pass and said, "that is stupid, it is like the onramp to get on the freeway. Two points: one, her car is not a drag car so it isn't like she got to do it in an 8 second car...and two, she already drives the hell out of her car, how thrilling can it be to go in a straight line for a quarter mile?

Now, give me a standing mile in my car and that would be more thrilling.

They have a group that goes out a few weeks before the race. They have been doing it so long they bring their own support vehicles back up bikes et all. It's a huge endeavor for them to undertake. These are guys that ride with Mouse McCoy on a regular basis. If you don't know who he is watch "Dust to Glory".

I'd highly suggest going with a tour group. Sh!t can go sideways real quick out there and the guide groups are better equipped to deal with the unexpected.
