i fast almost once a month, i'm hoping that is enough to let the digestive track rest, and clean out. As tempting as it is to clean your gut out there's got to be an easier way than going long periods without food. Coworker does a lemon and honey and cayenne pepper week or two fast, I couldn't handle that, he claims the lemon and honey has all the nutrients he needs, yet his performance is awful while doing it.

Thanks for the input girlgymrat, definitely some good stuff to think about. I definitely need to do something. I can pinch only an inch on my lower abs, and can see the top one's fine... But I still have some gut action going on. I wonder if I could just do greens, fish and something else for a few days. I just hate the idea of giving up protein and willfully causing a catabolic reaction.

I used to pick the parts I liked from multiple plans...and didn't chose the right ones LOL!!! I carry my weight in middle. Hardest and last place for me to loose.
