Ok Im bored so thought Id start a new thread. Im sure we have all had our bad run ins with the cops(another thead sometime!), but Im sure some of us have had some run ins when you thought, damn, that was cool and unexpected. Lets share! Ive actually got a couple but heres my best one. This was years ago, Iwas was about 21 at the time. It was toward the end of a 2 year or so relationship. I went out with my girl and some friends and got all fkd up. We got into an arguement, I think I flirted with a girl or some bs. So we are driving home on the highway, screaming at each other. I miss the exit ramp and drive past it. I am so pissed I grab the e brake and slide around 180 at atleast 50mph, so I can drive back the wrong way on the highway to the ramp as oppossed to going to the next exit and backtracking.( its 2 am ish and didnt see any other cars/lights on highway, and Im only a couple hundred yards past the ramp). I start driving the wrong way down the highway, and blue lights come on in front of me. I pull over to the right, which is actually to the left of the fast lane as im turned around. The cop pulls up to me so our cars are facing each other bumper to boumper. He pulls me out of the car, PISSED!! Gives me a sobriety test, I fail miserably. He must have just seen it in my eyes or something cause he looks at me and say whats going on man. I tell him me and my girl are falling apart, bad decisions, etc, and I just wanted to get home, I was totally deflated in general at that point in my life. He pats me on the back, says hang in there bud. Tells me to get in my car and drive the best I can, and he will escort me home. He follows me to my complex, I turn in, he toots his horn and keeps going. Me and the girl split for good the next day... 100% true story and coolest cop Ive ever encountered. He could have gotten me for a fistful of charges. Share away!!

some of them are human and have had it happen to them as well..

I used to confiscate small quantities of pot and dump it on the ground in front of them before cutting them loose..

that was a long time ago.. early 80's

Got pulled over for improperly passing a car on an off-ramp while going 92 in a 60 without a seatbelt on and crossing solid white lines.. He was parked under an overpass just behind the off-ramp and watched the whole thing.

It was Christmas Eve.. he let me go on a warning.. awesome cop

the night i meet my wife. i meet her at a bar she was my waitress. I got drunk asked her to hang out after work. She came out with a bottle of champagne, we drove to Brooklyn to get something to eat. Its like 4am at this point. Brought her home and had to drive back to NJ. Driving threw the tunnel i was falling asleep and starting hitting the cones on the center of the road. I made it out of the tunnel and pulled into the first gas station to sleep.
I gotten woken up by 2 port authority cops knocjing on my window. They saw me swerving on the cams in the tunnel. They asked where i was coming from i said i brought a girl home, . They asked why i didnt stay at the girls house. i said i meet her tonight at a bar. They asked which one i told them, They laughed and asked if she was hot? I said yea she was some hot russian girl. They said cool. Leave my truck in the parking lot they will keep an eye and make sure its safe. And cold me a cab to get home.

your posts sounds like you are a cop or and ex cop. got any stories you can share?

something similar happened to me on Christmas eve too!
At the time a had a suped up civic, and I was leaving my GF house at about midnight, where I live we have a long straight stretch of road, I didn't see any cars or lights so I hammered it! the one thing I forgot is that the cop shop was on this road!! I passed the police station going 170km/h just as a patrol car was pulling out of the parking lot! the speed limit in that zone was 50km/h... I pulled over, he came to the window, took my licence and said your not getting this back for a long time!!...I'm like fvck ! . 20 minutes went by, he said their computers were down, he threw my licence at me and said its Christmas eve and I was supposed to be off duty half hour ago, don't ever let me see this car going that fast again, merry Christmas!!.

Another one. I was about 19 here. Living in Key West Fl. I worked at a hotel/resort. Our two security guys(twins) also worked on the police force. I boxed for a local club, and me and 2 of my buddies from there were walking down duval st.(their main st.). We pass a group of like 20 gangster types. One of them says something to me(whiteboy blah blah shit) and I tell him to Fk off. HE gets up in my face with all his buddies behind him. I smash him in the face, and he goes down. Right then one of my boys grabs me from behind to pull me back trying to stop things. He grabbed me bear hug style with my arms pinned to my side. Another dude clocks me and I turn my head, his ring cuts me behind the ear. Then my buddy lets go and says fk it lets do it, a brawl ensues. We layed a few of them out and cops were there immediately. The two cops I worked with at the hotel and a female cop separated us, and basically patted us on the back!! This crew was known by local pd as a bad group, that would hang out and start shit with tourists, etc. They just picked the wrong guys that night. I passed the female cop a couple nights later and she slaps me 5 as I walk by her on the street!!

My friends had that done...The cops i ran into always took our beer! In one instance, while fishing, they actually took pics of us and made us put the beer in the trunk of a cruiser. Then told us thanks and drove off! We were about 16-17.
