33% profit on your money in 2 minutes
On Tuesday 14th June at Royal Ascot in the St. James Palace Stakes, 'Frankel' will not be beaten by anyone in this field.
He's currently 1/3 and has already annihilated 95% of the field.
Here is his last run at Newmarket in the 2000 Gineas (1st classic of the season), where he destroyed them at the half way point.

The colt is unbeaten in 6 starts and has been labelled as something very special. To put it lightly, the thing is a f*cking beast/machine, hence the price of it and 2nd favourite being 12/1.

Keep an eye out for a horse over your way called "so you think" the thing is a machine.

I've seen "So You Think" and think its a good horse, but it hasnt raced the cream of the crop in EUR yet at Group 1.
Frankel is a 1m horse and So You Think will race further at 1m2f or 1m4f I assume because of its various entries in those distance races.
Frankel is a good horse, but my favourite is Canford Cliffs, which beat Goldikova today at Ascot.
Frankel vs. Canford Cliffs is going to be one hell of a f*cking race if you like racing!!

The "favorite" always ends up losing sooner or later and usually it happens when people are betting the most money on him.
Not putting 500 on a horse to watch him choke knowing my luck.

I much prefer barrel racing but enjoy horses in general. I competed in roping and bull riding in highschool. I still am involved with horses and probably always will be.

Swifto, when you bet on horses are you betting on place or show?

To win.
But occassionally to place.
My year has been good, but I have slowed down a lot. I used to gamble a lot (almost every day) but now its once or twice per month. I dont have the time to go through the form etc... I just get tips from trainers, jockey's and go with that, which usually works well.
There was a team of 4 of use that used to bet together, we also lay a lot of horses.
The horse today is 100% on form, it shouldn't be beaten, but this is horse racing and some lose.
Only bet with what you can afford to lose.
I will update this thread almost every day for the Cheltenham Festival. But read the bold above.

Its 7/2, too short for me to got E/W.
I think its out of the two, there are plenty of rumours about both not being up to par this week. I'd wait and see what happens with the market a bit more before backing.
I lost last year on Imperial Commander.
I think Long Run will win, but if Kauto is at his best, he's unbeatable.
Tomorrow 2.30 - Grand Crus is what I'm on 6/4. But if it wins, I'll be winning my losses today.
Big Bucks will win and then my pals horse is running Thursday called "Our Father" which is 7/1 but its an enormous field, so E/W for me.
Thats it for me this week, unless I get some information about something...

Yeah I might put a few pound e/w on him thanks
Big bucks is banker of the meeting, you will have some very substantial wagers on that
Hurricane fly caught me out aswell but I made it back on 2.40 Our Mick e/w @12's, 4.00 A New Story e/w @20's and a good bet on 4.40 Quevega win @4/7
So all in all not a bad day, but its only the start of the meeting, you know yourself it could go either way
But personally I will look for 4/1 on kauto to make it evs for a place and if I find it I will have a good bet on that, its virtually guranteed baring a fallLast edited by DanB; 03-13-2012 at 05:34 PM.

I love the horses. One of the most beautiful creatures God (whatever her name is) created.
I don't bet on the horses...don't know chit about them.
But, If i ever had a significant amount of money...i would buy a race horse and race um. Must be Great!

Grad Crus got beat as well, I'm down a fair amount now.
Our Father tomorrow in the 2.05 and Big Bucks will get me on top and out of trouble.

Regarding the jump season, have't done too bad, lost a little.
I usually win on the flat, much better on the flat, enjoy watching it more as well. When you get told a 2 year old is going to be a super star (Sea the Stars, Frankel, Canford Cliffs, Paco Boy and many more) and its the first or second run, the odds are going to be decent too - easy money.
