Ex gf isn't so bad, but that's still an area that I stay away from. As soon as one of my friends starts dating a girl that's it for her. If I walked in and found my friend withs current girlfriend I would probably kill them both.

I dont have time to read all the post so if this was already brought up, im sorry. What does him getting his name off the lease have to do with him trying to get another lease for his friend?? Are you not allowed to rent more than one place in the states? If he found a place are they going to say" sorry but you already have another lease signed at another address?? Just wondering because if not, I think he is trying to screw you guys over somehow.

Seriously though confront your friend, saying you care too much about who is in your house to not know them prior. I've had roomates that had absolutely no respect for other roomates. One guy when he left was just packing up his stuff shoving everyone else's things out of his way and stole a bunch of text books, not to mention we found under his bed completely full of empty 2 liter bottles, and that he had been eating others foods, and hiding the evidence, muffin wrappers behind the couch. Really not the worst horror story, as I have actually had roomates do worse, but do you want a slob in that nice clean house? You never know what kind of person you are going to get, or what kind of friends they bring over.
