Most eff'ed up thing I have ever come across...thoughts?

My roomate (Lee) gets home last night and drops an atom bomb on my brother (Cliff) and I. He has been going behind our back for the last two weeks getting himself off the lease of the house and adding another person a friend of his from Houston who we dont know. He drops a contract on our laps saying we need to sign this to get him off the lease so he can get his friend on our lease...who we dont know and never met..and if we dont sign it, hes going to throw a bitch fit and probably walk.

The whole story he is trying to pass it on as is that his friend is quitting his job and is not going to have current pay stubs by the time he moves out here next month, so while he still has this job at KPMG, he can get on our lease and qualify..Instead he goes about it the stupidest way ever when he could have just asked if his friend could crash at our place for a few weeks till he finds a job and a place to live.

We live in a bomb ass pad 6 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from the bars, and we dont want to have another person living here...period. neither does my brother. Thats not what we signed up for.

He goes on to say that he (our rooomate Lee) is not moving out and is just going to find a lease for his buddy somewhere else here in PB and sign that lease for him, since Lee will have current pay stubs and current employment. This sounds like total bullshit. Its so easy to get a lease in Pacific beach with the way the economy is, you can practically be homeless and unemployed and still find some shack to piss in.

My brother Cliff just txted me pissed as hell and wondering why he back us into the corner like this.. He does not want another guy living here, we have a really nice house and its not a frat house and we dont ever intend on making it that.

Two ways to handel it my brother and I are thinking of handeling it, tell him no he cant move in here and deal with it he can crash here till he finds a job, or kick him out since he is technically of the lease...and not have to deal with either of them...

Lee is moving a guy out here from Houston who we never met and wants us to live with him...wtf is that?

Any thoughts?

I've been in this business for a long time and can tell you with a great deal of certainty that you are headed for trouble, it isn't what you want, you don't know this guy, it was done in secrecy, he has no income, someone isn't being totally honest with the landlord and your name is on the lease, do you really want to **** with the landlord on such an awesome place? Look your friend in the eye and say HELL NO!!!!! If he walks at least YOU will be the one to pick who lives with you. Don't let it slide Razr, I've NEVER seen one of these deals work out and in the end YOU will be held accountable by your landlord.

Funny I just met the landlords today they came by the house for the first time in a year, but I have been sick so kinda hung over, I woke up and they were in the house, I knew they were coming I just was not prepared to talk about what just happened last night. Im on my way to the leasing office to tear up that contract.

Thank you for being spot on, I knew this was headed in the wrong direction and you confirmed it on my way to leasing office right now, will report back.

Wait until your roommate passes out n teabag him. Take a few good pics of it n crop out anything that could incriminate the teabagger. Then proceed to send said pics to his co-workers n everyone he knows via e-mail.

Then beat his ass for fvckin u guys over, but make sure he strikes first.

i would not let him crash on the couch. That is asking for more issues. Even if he isnt on the lease and he gets his mail there he legally is a resident. You would have to get him evicted

Well I just handled it.. I told the leasing agent what was up.. Lee told them a different story than what he told us..

He told them he was moving out to get a place with his loser gf...lets talk about that..she's 23 unemployed, they just met about 4 weeks ago, does blow every weekend and lives with a friend at her parents house..get it..she lives with her friends parents out in BFE like logan heights or some ghetto like that...she has no money. He has to pay for everything ...

Anyways back on subject..he told two different stories and I called him on it..the leasing agent said he is not and will not be taking him off the lease.

He's been fronting his buddies pay stubs he last two weeks to show he currently has a job. But like I said his budy is quitting and coming out here unemployed..so I ended that..and told the leasing agent the real deal and what he is really trying to do and his buddy does not have a job out here. Its all a lie.

Lee must think cliff and I were born yesterday ...I cant wait till tonight when we tell him the good news..ill be ready for a fight if it comes to that. But no one is going to screw me or my brother over..he lost his legs in Iraq and ill be dammed if I ever let anything bad happen to him or see him get screwed over like this.

He has been txting me all day saying how sad and upset he is about this so I'm gonna take care of him always.

I swear to god I will throw lee and all his shit out the upstairs patio window if he tries to make a move..I'm so fcking mad right now. At least I'm on the beach looking at nice looking waves and girls.. keep u guys posted after tonight's ralley.

i know in pa if u want to get out of a rental agreement u have to find someone to take your place thats what it sounds like to me he is trying to roll out and find some bum to take his place so he can get out of the lease witch is a dick move especially if he knows the guy moving in is a bum and wont be able to handle the rent if it were me i would ask him for the next mouths rent and tell him to roll that would give u 30 days to find someone u guys like to take his place and u wont have to deal with him anymore

Hes not getting out of shit, I locked it down at the leasing office and told the agent the truth and told him all the lies he told on both sides of the story..tonight is going to be interesting..my brother has robotic legs and cant fight so if It comes to it I will go hulk style on him if he steps up and gets mad about me shutting his whole shitty plot down.
I swear there is a rage in me like the hulk and once the switch is turned on, its pretty hard for me to turn it off. I never screwed anyone out of anything in my whole life and for a guy I known since 16 and high school together this is fcking BS. I really feel bad for my brother cause hes disabled and kinda just has to watch what transpires, his legs are still in iraq. But like I said, I'm never going to let anything happen to him

I cant believe someone I know for half my life would try and do this...i guess you never really know who people are

Nice place Razr, can you afford it without Lee living there? I would find a way to either let him out and you and your brother resign with the leasing agency or find someone to take his place.....that's what he really wants is to get out of the lease, sorry about losing a friend bro but it's not your fault, he is making his own decisions.
